Angelina Jolie And The Offer to Direct Fifty Shades of Gray
Famous actress and director Angelina Jolie was the one who was offered, initially, to direct the highly anticipated adaptation.
The shooting of Fifty Shades of Gary ended last month, in Vancouver, however the news and rumors about the movie continue to pop up.
After long search, the producers managed to find the right cast and director. Some of the names initially mentioned to direct the movie was also the name of Angelina Jolie.
Angelina Jolie confirmed the fact that she was in talks with the producers to direct Fifty Shades of Gray however she decided to decline the offer. The producers then focused on Taylor-Johnson.
“I think I did the right thing. It was very clear for me. After Blood and Honey I wanted to direct a specific tyep of movie. The truth is that I am very anxious to see what Sam Taylor-Johnson did with the movie because she’s great” Jolie said.
“I think the producers made the right call. It’s funny because when directing you think that you’re better in telling some stories than others, but you never know” Angelina Joile also added.(netquake.net)
