2015 Honda CR-V Overview

A new engine and new technology make CR-V one of the highest fuel efficiency[2] SUVs on the market.
For three decades, Honda has played a leading role in meeting environmental challenges. In fact, Honda was the first manufacturer to offer Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV)-rated emission technology[1] on a production vehicle.

34-mpg highway rating

The CR-V has always had some of the best fuel economy ratings for SUVs, and they just got better. With its new 2.4-liter, Earth Dreams Technology™ DOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission (CVT), the CR-V received a whopping 34-mpg rating on the highway[1].

Eco Assist™

Eco Assist™ helps car and driver work together as never before to improve fuel efficiency[1]. When you push the green ECON button, your CR-V will automatically configure its engine and other energy-consuming systems to operate more efficiently. A feedback system tells you how efficiently you're driving via instrument-panel lighting that changes from white (inefficient) to green (efficient), helping you get even more out of one of the most fuel efficient SUVs on the road.

ULEV-2 CARB Emissions Rating

The 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder direct-injection engine has excellent fuel efficiency[1]. The ULEV-2 CARB emissions rating[2] means that the CR-V is an Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle.

185-hp, 2.4-Liter, Earth Dreams Technology™ i-VTEC® 4-Cylinder Engine

The 2015 CR-V has upgraded its engine for an increase in both torque and fuel efficiency. Max horsepower and peak torque are now reached at a lower rpm, and direct-injection technology gives you a more efficient use of fuel[1].

[3] LKAS only alerts drivers when lane drift is detected without a turn signal in use and can apply mild steering torque to assist driver in maintaining proper lane position. LKAS may not detect all lane markings or lane departures; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and road condition. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.

[4] ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. ACC should not be used in heavy traffic, poor weather or on winding roads. The driver remains responsible for slowing or stopping the vehicle to avoid a collision.

[5] CMBS cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed and other factors. System operation affected by extreme interior heat. System designed to mitigate crash forces. Driver remains responsible for safely operating vehicle and avoiding collisions.

[6] Always visually confirm that it is safe to drive before backing up; the rearview camera display does not provide complete information about all conditions and objects at the rear of your vehicle. The CR-V is equipped with a rearview video system recommended by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Information about crash avoidance technologies as part of the Government 5-Star Safety Ratings program can be found at www.safercar.gov.
